The American German Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation traditionally has a fund raising event held on the Friday evening of the annual Specialty Show of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America. Each event is sponsored by Foundation members. It is an opportunity for those who love the German Shepherd Dog to get together, chat in an informal environment, donate funds in creative ways such as auctions for goods or handler services, and show support for the heath and genetic research projects sponsored by the Foundation.
